01 The tree

Can you cut a .000 light?

Every pass starts here. Stage, watch the ambers, and leave the instant it goes green. Too early is a red light and the race is gone. The game runs a Pro tree: all three ambers at once, green four tenths later.

02 The garage

Pick your weapon.

Fifty-three street cars: hatches, rotaries, twin-turbo AWD, blown muscle and tri-motor electrics. Every one runs its real stock numbers until you start turning wrenches.

05 The run

Ten seconds. No lift.

Two buttons, GAS and SHIFT. Simple to pick up, impossible to perfect. Stock cars are calibrated to instrumented quarter-mile tests, and the slip shows every hundredth you left on the strip.
